Images of Scenes/Pictures
Here, are SOME of the scenes from the film.
ENJOY, reading the Info I have included for each.
Isn't this so HEROIC and EXCITING? This, as you can see is of me again, trying to fight my way against another villain. I include this picture to show you that superheroes are not always at their best and can be at their worst times too. It’s good as you can learn by looking at it, that great talent and achievements comes from great hardship.
It also, shows my power of strength.
In the film, Will my son would always tease me saying I’m wearing tights.
Dialogue
So you’ve read lately, looking at my recent previous blogs about the working process put towards our film right.
All the movies we watch, include lines that become famous esp. to TEENAGERS! Sometimes because it is extremely hilarious but also, it may contain deep meaning which can relate to those who feel they are in the same situation.
For Example.
“My girlfriend became my arch-enemy
This line definitely develops Will’s character throughout the movie as his relationships towards people change. The events that happen affect his relationship towards others because conflict occurs, so borders are encountered causing changes in a relationship.
Example. Will and Layla.
They’ve been best friends since pre-school. Entering Sky High, seperated him from her as he was transferred to Hero Class whilst she stayed in Hero Support. This completely changed Will’s character, as he made new friends, fell into peer-pressure and did things which a Sidekick wouldn’t do because they were considered “low.” His priorities were ignored, meaning forgetting, excluding, betraying and hurting his true friends without even realising. This left him too occupied to all his Hero Friends ONLY esp. Gwen, not knowing he was getting set up into a trap.
Later on, the storyline progresses and continues to develop his character as secrets are revealed causing him to change his attitude, realizing what he’s done and learning from his mistakes. He realizes his Sidekick friends are worth more and much more important as they didn’t backstab and use him. Not only that, they were there to help him out at his worst times. Also, most importantly he realized that his feelings belonged to Layla and he had been stupid enough to not see it.
So that’s how the line,
“My girlfriend became my arch-enemy
explains the development of Will’s character and the progress of the storyline.

So. .. the two most FAQ are
“What type of music is used?”
“What popular music artists will appear on the soundtrack?”
Okay, well there really isn’t one general type of music used. It is of a variety ranging from popular rock bands like Click Five and Bowling For Soup, 80s music but revived to clean off that 80’s sound feeling for you all young audience out there, slow songs in other words, “slow jams” which you people call these days bring meaning and mood from its lyrics and the tone/sound of the music.
Two songs played in the film are:
1. I Melt With You – Bowling for Soup
2. Through Being Cool – Ginger Sling
So, how does this music fit into the atmosphere?
The first song contains lyrics,
Moving forward using all my breath
In the end, everything turns out for the better. It fits into the atmosphere as it shows in the end the change made between Will and his bestfriend, Layla. They discover each others secret feelings for each other and share a kiss. The lyrics match the progress of Will and Layla’s friendship through out the film.
The second song contains lyrics,
We're through being cool
As considered low, useless, shameful and disgrace to all superheroes because of being “Sidekicks,” this song definitely fits into the atmosphere. Being in Hero Class was the only key to being cool. But that didn’t matter because THEY WERE THROUGH BEING COOL. This song has a fast beat, filled with energy and power which definitely shows the pride with no envy for those in hero class.
Film Techniques
In this film, Sky High there are many countless angles used and see if you take a good look.
Here are four different scenes of four different angles:
Close Up – Will & Leila
This angle is used to keep the audience’s focus on one particular image. It involves a lot of detail included. This technique is used when something is trying to be proven or when the scene is really important, so it must be viewed close up to be eye-catching.
Low Shot – Coach Boomer
This angle makes the chosen image look stronger, bigger and of a much higher standard. This technique is frequently used esp. for villains and super heroes.
Long Shot – The School Falling Down
This angle is a long shot as it shows the full scene from a far view. This gives the audience a good outlook on where the scene is set, the characters involved and what is happening.
Extreme Long Shot – Sky High Home Coming
This angle gives the audience a much further outlook from where the scene takes off, compared to the Long Shot Angle. This angle’s purpose is the same as the one above.
Plot of Film
Many of you may have already watched the movie but SOME may have not, so
Ohhh! This is starting to look like an essay, so I should just finish it now and end it. I’m tired anyway, had a long day ending with a long blog. Haha! So till next blog, to
